Renowned ceramicist, YOSUKE KOMATSUNO established his independent studio in 2003 after perfecting his craft at the Maruo Kiln in Kumamoto, Japan . Komatsuno's ceramic cups, plates, and bowls are crafted using Amakusa porcelain stone gathered from natural clay deposits located in Kumamoto prefecture. His pieces are known for utilizing unique green-hued glazes and other colored accents rare for Amakusa style ceramics, to create functional ceramics able to bring joy to everyday moments.
