This piece is made using the *neriage*  technique, creating colorful geometric patterns with pigment-infused clay based on hand-sketched designs.

Kumamoto Prefecture native Maho Harada launched her eponymous ceramics studio in 2001. Harada’s colorful, geometric patterned pieces are crafted using a production technique known as ‘neriage,’ in which pigments are hand-kneaded into clay.
