A collaboration model that adds nonnative’s signature touch to the waterproof and breathable CONVERSE ALL STAR GORE-TEX OX will be released on Friday, March 20.
CONVERSE is a lifestyle brand that originated as a rubber shoe manufacturer founded by Marquis M. Converse in Malden, Massachusetts, USA, in 1908. Since the debut of the ALL STAR in 1917, the brand has produced numerous iconic sneakers that have left their mark on sneaker history, including the JACK PURCELL and ONE STAR.
This model features a canvas upper equipped with waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX, along with a gusseted tongue construction that maintains the classic appearance while enhancing water resistance. Paired with a center zip unit that reflects nonnative’s distinctive design approach, the shoe balances a clean aesthetic with a comfortable, secure fit.
The upper is finished in ivory canvas with a tricolor side line, following the traditional design of the ALL STAR. A high-density urethane insole printed with both brand logos is included, while the nonnative logo appears at the tip of the shoelaces as a mark of the collaboration.
Blending classic style with practical functionality, the design adds nonnative’s rugged yet refined sensibility.
The result is a one-of-a-kind pair that reinterprets traditional aesthetics and functional design for the modern era.
