hobo × MAMMUT®
SAPUEN LOW GTX®

Tokyo-based hobo produces a range of practical everyday tools for life, from bags and accessories to homeware and apparel.

Harnessing the high-performance technologies of alpine climbing and trekking brand Mammut, hobo presents a sophisticated revamp of the Swiss outdoor brand’s Sapuen Low GTX® hiking shoe. Delivered in a tonal beige colorway, the shoes combine hobo’s refined urban aesthetics with premium outdoor functionality.

Available from Saturday, September 18

Mammut began in 1862 as a manufacturer of ropes in the Swiss town of Dintikon. Throughout its 160-year history, the brand has developed a diverse range of high-performance alpine apparel and equipment that combine sophisticated design with innovative, cutting-edge technology.

For this collaboration, hobo revamps the Sapuen Low GTX®, a low-cut hiking shoe that integrates the latest technology from Mammut. Equipped with a breathable, fully waterproof GORE-TEX® membrane, the shoes are guaranteed to keep feet dry.

Additionally, Flextron Technology® supports the natural rolling movement of the foot, providing more efficient use of energy when hiking and mountaineering. Hobo’s application of a velour leather upper provides a sophisticated take on this high-performance shoe, without removing any of its functionality.

Various tones of beige are applied to the upper panels, midsole, outsole, and laces, creating a chic tonal impression, while a rich orange hue is applied to the insole and an additional set of replacement laces. Both brand’s logos appear on the heel of the shoe.

Packed with innovative technology and all-terrain performance, the refined hobo × MAMMUT® SAPUEN LOW GTX® is ready for both the sidewalk and the trail this Autumn.
