KAPTAIN SUNSHINE, founded by Shinsuke Kojima in 2013, is a Japanese menswear brand. It uses rich fabrics made from premium materials with precise craftsmanship from domestic factories. The brand creates easy-care everyday wear, blending traditional style and fieldwear influences to design pieces perfect for life’s journeys.
Inspired by their shared experience of living near the Shonan coastline, both the designer of KAPTAIN SUNSHINE and the COVERCHORD buyer used the “Seaside Street” as a key theme for these exclusive "high-casual" pieces.

The collection includes the HOODY PULLOVER, featuring a WEST COAST line print, and the SHOECUT EASY CORDPANTS, crafted from corduroy inspired by a SEASIDE TOWN.
Despite their casual nature, the muted FADE BLACK color brings a relaxed yet sophisticated tone to these garments.

This piece draws inspiration from the WEST COAST series, which evokes the vibe of the '60s American West Coast with its signature line print, reminiscent of a road along the coast.
Notably, this is the first time a sweat material has been used in the series. The narrow line print is finished in a sleek black, and both brand logos are embroidered on the chest, designed with a subtle yet standout placement and sizing that embodies the collaboration.
