OZISM, the collaborative capsule collection between UNDERCOVER and nonnative, is releasing its second installment this Autumn and Winter season.
It is built on the theme of -Portraits of Modern Japanese- and is inspired by the iconic film director Yasujirō Ozu. The collaboration continues to explore the two designers’ shared admiration for Japanese aesthetics and cultural history influenced by Ozu's cinematic legacy.
The genesis of this collection can be traced back to a conversation between the designers, where they expressed their desire for comfortable everyday attire in the style of “Samue" (traditional Japanese workwear).
In the upcoming release of the 2023 AW collection, they have introduced a new color, BROWN, and expanded the range to include new items including boots and accessories. The collection is available from Saturday, October 7th.

Founded in 1990 by designer Jun Takahashi, UNDERCOVER combines elements of street fashion, music, art, and subculture to create high-fashion collections with a distinct underground aesthetic. UNDERCOVER has been showing at Paris Fashion Week since 2002.

OZISM
2023 AUTUMN - WINTER COLLECTION
The second installment of OZISM consists of a lineup of 10 items. The collection continues to revolve around the MONK jacket, which is inspired by “Samue”, the traditional workwear worn by Buddhist monks.
The cap, jacket, coat, and GRAMICCI easy pants are equipped with POLARTEC® WINDPRO® and the long-sleeved logo t-shirt has been updated to offer a more relaxed silhouette.
Two new additions, the MONK PUFF JACKET and WALKER EASY PANTS utilize GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ and CLIMASHIELD® to provide high-performance wind resistance and insulation.
Ultra soft POLARTEC® HIGH LOFT™ has been applied to a sweatshirt and neck warmer, boasting excellent lightweight insulation.
In addition to the classic NAVY and BLACK options, a new BROWN color has been introduced to the lineup.
Two models of GUIDI boots are being released, the previously popular BACK ZIP BOOTS and a special edition of the CENTER ZIP BOOTS, affectionately called BIG DADDY.
Both models are constructed using the Norwegian welt method and feature Vibram soles, resulting in a distinctive and exclusive silhouette.
