rig's unique Technology

rig was established in 2019 as Japan's first recovery sandal brand after four years of research into the differences in foot characteristics among various ethnicities.

rig's recovery sandals feature footbeds designed based on the unique characteristics of Japanese feet, providing maximum comfort. These sandals are engineered to fully relax the feet after exercise or long hours of standing, ensuring minimal fatigue the next day.

With the concept of reducing athlete stress, rig continuously advances material research and technological innovation, incorporating feedback from athletes in trail running, mountain biking, road cycling, and triathlon.

Compared to hard sandals, rig's recovery sandals offer superior shock absorption, reducing strain on the feet and lower back. They are ideal for everyday wear, especially for those with back pain or herniated discs.

he tube-style thong has been updated with adjustable belts and straps. Additionally, a new heel part has been added to provide a better fit over the instep and improve overall foot support.
