Lately, I find myself drawn to items with specific purposes rather than multifunctional ones.
Items like a steamer basket, lemon squeezer, or pasta machine catch my eye for their purpose-driven design and functionality.
That's why I'm loving the butter case by KOUJI HORI.
It's a piece designed specifically for butter, after all.
The case is perfectly sized to fit a standard 200g butter block, crafted from beautiful walnut wood with a gorgeous grain.
It even comes with a butter knife that neatly fits inside the case. The curved design of the butter knife adds to its charm and elegance.
What I also adore is the hand-carved design underside of the lid, revealing a beautiful detail every time I open it – a small delight in my daily routine.
As it's made of wood, I look forward to the patina it'll develop over time, making it a cherished item in my kitchen.
