No matter what anyone says, this heat signals summer.
What marks the beginning of summer for you?
Is it when somen noodles appear on the table, when the air conditioner is set to 18 degrees, or when a tenugui becomes essential?
According to these criteria, the summer of mine (a giant) started in early April.

On a different note, many people feel the change of seasons through "smells."
Particularly, the sudden scent of mosquito coils unmistakably evokes Japanese summer.
Though I used to burn them often at my parents' house, I haven't used them in my current home.
Inspired, I decided to welcome the KAYARIKI by Suzuki Morihisa Studio, combining practicality and beauty, into my home.
