I’ve had long hair for years.
In search of keeping it healthy and beautiful, I’ve tried so many things, yet I still haven’t quite found the perfect hair care.
Of course, the ingredients matter, but so do the texture and the scent.
I tend to choose products with that slightly particular mindset.

So today, I’d love to introduce the hair oil by yaso, now newly available at COVERCHORD.

The AKAMATSU HAIR OIL from the yaso apothecary line comes in two types: TREE and WILD FLOWER.
TREE has a rich, woody scent, while WILD FLOWER carries a softer floral note layered within it.
Personally, I prefer woody fragrances, so TREE has become my favorite.

Formulated with plant-derived moisturizing ingredients such as mandarin orange, horsetail, and loquat, it helps protect the hair from dryness and external damage while adding moisture and shine.
It can also be used on the skin, which is another nice point.

What I like most is the texture. It’s not too heavy, not too light, with a natural, glossy finish that makes it very easy to use.
My hair is quite fine and not very voluminous, so texture is especially important when choosing a hair oil. Too heavy, and it feels greasy; too light, and it doesn’t control frizz.
This oil strikes the right balance, making it easy to pair with other styling products and adjust depending on your hair type.

Another highlight is the packaging.
Since it’s something you use every day, having a design that lifts your mood each time you pick it up really matters.
It’s almost too nice to tuck away, and I find myself wanting to keep it somewhere visible.
