Recently, I had the pleasure of receiving this umeshu from the folks at Komaki Brewing, and they told me that every step, from harvesting and selecting the plums to the back-straining work of bottling and labeling, is done by hand by their team of brewers.

Of course, it's incredibly delicious. I couldn't resist introducing it!
It boasts a stronger plum aroma and fruitiness than any plum liqueur I've tasted before, with an exquisite balance of sweetness. The fruit pulp adds a delightful accent, and the aftertaste is surprisingly light and pleasant.

While it's recommended to enjoy it on the rocks, it's also fantastic mixed with hot water, where the sweetness and gentleness of the plum stand out, and you can savor the aroma even more. It's perfect for this season.
This plum liqueur, filled with dedication and passion due to the many manual processes, is limited in production, so if you're interested, I'd recommend you to secure it early!
