It’s been about nine months since the last nonnative collaboration sneaker release in January, and now the ASICS GEL-TERRAIN GTX from AW24 is finally here.
We’ve had so many inquiries after it made a casual appearance in the lookbook, and now we can finally reveal it to everyone.Known for their footwear collaborations, nonnative has received great feedback even before the release of this model, particularly for the “color scheme.”
The combination of materials, including suede, creates subtle tonal differences in the Brown Storm color, with contrasting browns giving the sneaker a refined and luxurious look.

With autumn settling in, it feels like the perfect colorway to stoke desire.
Even friends who don’t normally follow nonnative have reached out, impressed by both the look and the performance of this sneaker.
Originally designed as a trail running shoe, its functionality is top-notch, with GORE-TEX as standard, making it ideal for various settings.

In terms of sizing, my usual size was a perfect fit, with a sleek silhouette.
For those planning to use them for trail running, or if you prefer a snug fit or a more sporty, running shoe-like style, you might consider going half a size down.
Personally, I find tighter fits uncomfortable, so I stick with my regular size. For those far away, I hope this helps with sizing. For those nearby, trying them on in person will give you peace of mind!
