The last ASICS × nonnative collaboration, the GEL-YETITOKYO HI GTX, was released in 2020.

While ASICS is often associated with running shoes—likely due to my soccer background—I was thrilled by this model's unique design and boot-like silhouette.
First introduced in 2018, this is the third iteration, now featuring practical updates.
The loop-lace structure, previously requiring ankle wrapping, has been replaced with a quick-lace system, and GORE-TEX remains standard.
Perfect for winter activities, it’s easy to slip on and off for camping or après-ski.

With its silhouette sitting between sneakers and boots, it pairs effortlessly with nonnative's slim-fit pants, whether tech-inspired or classic boot styles.
