PULLOVER KNIT

In Nakameguro, the cherry blossoms have begun to fall, and little by little, things are returning to their everyday rhythm.
While the lively atmosphere during cherry blossom season is wonderful, there’s something especially nice about the quiet that follows.
Today, I’d like to introduce the MARINER SWEATER C/P/R/L MESH from nonnative.
This crew neck pullover knit is made using a blend of washi (Japanese paper) and linen yarns. Washi offers superior breathability and moisture absorption compared to cotton, and in recent years, it’s been featured in pieces from many brands.
Personally, I love the light, crisp feel of washi—it’s a go-to material in my summer wardrobe, from shirts and beanies to socks.
The mesh knit and relaxed silhouette make this an ideal layering piece. Right now, it pairs well over a shirt or thermal, and when the weather warms up, I think it’ll look great with shorts too.
About ten years ago, summer styling still meant layering shirts or light jackets. But in recent years, summer outfits tend to lean more casual—T-shirts and shorts.
That’s why I think it’s nice to mix in a refined piece like this. If you’re feeling stuck with your summer wardrobe, this is one item I’d definitely recommend./
