What?! Four weeks into the season and no one has written about this season’s NR and TP type denim yet? That’s what I was thinking as I sat down to write this.

Those of you who have already visited us in store or checked this season’s nonnative lineup on COVERCHORD may know—starting this season, the new NR and TP types replace the familiar 01 and 03 cuts.

In line with the theme, they mark the return of pant silhouettes from nonnative’s vendor days, about ten years ago.

The NR type is a slim straight silhouette, narrow but with a touch of room at the waist. The TP type features front tucks that give more space around the hips, tapering gently toward the hem for a relaxed silhouette.

This week we’re releasing both cuts in the SELVEDGE DENIM VW LIGHT. Be sure to stop by and try them on—don’t forget to compare with the DARK as well!
