NEW 5P JEANS

It has already been one week since the opening of the nonnative shop Osaka. I have been staying in Osaka for about two weeks for the store preparation, and I continue to feel both surprised and inspired by the high level of fashion enthusiasm in Kansai, which feels quite different from Nakameguro.

It has been a real joy to welcome long-time fans of the brand not only from the Kansai area, but also from regions as far as Chugoku, Shikoku, Chubu, and Hokuriku. Thanks to the support of so many people, we have been able to create a wonderful shop. If you are in the area, we would be delighted if you would stop by.

This time, I would like to introduce two new models from nonnative: the DWELLER 5P JEANS NR COTTON CORD SULFUR DYE and the DWELLER 5P JEANS TP COTTON CORD SULFUR DYE. From this season, the denim lineup has been updated with two new silhouettes: “NR” and “TP.”

The “NR (NARROW)” is close to the former TIGHT FIT, offering a slimmer profile with a sharper impression than the previous “01.”
For long-time fans it may feel nostalgic, while for new customers it will be fresh and modern. A concealed zipper at the hem makes putting them on and taking them off smooth and easy.

The “TP (TAPERED)” silhouette carries on from the previous “03,” reflecting the USUAL FIT line.
A tuck at the waist provides a stress-free fit while maintaining a slim look. The thighs to knees taper naturally, while below the knees the line falls straight—an unmistakably nonnative shape.

This season also sees the return of the “knee darts,” allowing easy movement and preventing distortion at the knees.
The coin pocket inside the right pocket has also been enlarged to fit a smartphone, another thoughtful detail that showcases the brand’s design sensibility.

Both models are made from sulfur-dyed cotton corduroy, a fabric that develops unique fading with wear, adding character over time.
We also recommend styling them with the TRUCKER BLOUSON in the same fabric, or with the EXPLORER DOWN VEST released last week.

As for sizing (just my personal advice), the “NR” works best one size up, while the “TP” fits true to size.
