The days are getting noticeably shorter, and before you know it the evening light has already shifted. It is the kind of season that naturally makes you want to slow down and spend more time at home. It also feels like the perfect moment to reach for something uplifting, a piece that adds a little warmth to those quiet hours.

This time, we would like to introduce the MONK Fleece Jacket and MONK Easy Rib Pants from the ongoing collaboration project OZISM by nonnative and UNDERCOVER. Together, they create a fleece matching set that brings a sense of comfort and subtle excitement into everyday life.

For those discovering the project for the first time, OZISM is a collaborative series inspired by the work of the film director Yasujiro Ozu, a figure deeply admired by both designers. This season marks the fifth installment, continuing their shared exploration of Japanese aesthetics through contemporary clothing.

The theme for this collection is monk wear reinterpreted through the idea of samue. Designed as relaxed pieces for the colder months, both the jacket and pants are made using POLARTEC THERMAL PRO, a high-performing fleece known for its excellent balance of warmth and breathability.
It retains heat effectively while preventing the stuffiness often associated with heavier fleece.
What stood out immediately when trying them on was the lightness. Fleece is rarely heavy, but this has a surprising airiness that you feel the moment you slip it on.
The result is a set that works effortlessly at home and is equally reliable for quick outings, blending comfort, warmth and ease.
