I’ve cut my hair, and I’ll just say this upfront in case anyone’s too shy to ask—no, it’s not because of a breakup.
I simply hate blow-drying my hair more than anything, so the fact that I can now get away with towel-drying every day feels like a revelation.
There are so many perks, too. Styling my hair is a breeze, cleaning the bathroom is easier, and honestly, it’s all positives. But the thing I’m most thrilled about is being able to wear lovely pieces without feeling embarrassed!

I’m talking about designs loaded with girly elements, like flower embroidery that looks like a child drew it, or rounded, puffy shoulders—all balanced with a structured, boxy, modern silhouette.
It’s been a while since I’ve felt so struck by something.
I feel like the impression these pieces give will shift as I get older, but I can’t wait to become the kind of grandma who effortlessly wears outfits like these with gorgeous grey hair.
