Each collection explores a theme that feels both timeless and fresh.
Some are abstract, while others draw inspiration from figures such as Vincent van Gogh and Kenji Miyazawa.
There is something familiar yet quietly melancholic about these themes that resonates with my everyday life and always captures my imagination.

Of all the pillings collections, the Autumn/Winter 2023–24 collection left the strongest impression on me.
One look in particular has stayed with me: a model with pale makeup and disheveled hair, wrapped in knitwear as though hugging herself tightly.
It felt as if the anxieties and struggles of everyday life existed alongside the comfort of hand-knitted clothing.

As someone who loves pillings, the piece I want to introduce this time is the UNSTABLE CARDIGAN.
It beautifully captures the season’s theme, Landscapes, while embodying the kind of timeless appeal that will stay with me for years to come.

A sweater knitted by the founder’s mother is where pillings began.
Guided by the concept of creating knitwear to cherish, the brand approaches the act of making clothes with a perspective that embraces human anxieties and uncertainties, affirming different ways of living.
It is this distinctive worldview that continues to draw me in.
