[About the DEER COLLECTION]
This collection uses deerskin, treated with fatliquor (oil) during tanning and dyeing to bring out its characteristic supple, moist texture.
Over time or with changes in temperature, the oils may rise to the surface of the leather as a white film.
This is a natural characteristic of the material, not a defect. The oils absorb back into the leather with use, and the bag can be used like any other deerskin product.
If the whitening bothers you, gently wiping it with a soft cloth may help reduce it.

AETA was founded by the former designer of the Japanese tote bag brand CHACOLI. Translating to "I met" in Japanese, AETA's free forms are inspired by the designer's personal encounters with different people and places during international travels.
