After graduating from Bunka Fashion College and gaining experience as a fashion designer with a Tokyo apparel maker, Jun Mikami began work as a freelancer. With a strong knowledge of yarn dying, she began designing and knitting products for a range of fashion labels. In 2012 she established her eponymous fashion brand JUN MIKAMI.
