Mahito Kudo founded his ceramic studio in Ajigaura, Ibaraki prefecture over 30 years ago. Offering a broad range of refined, functional tableware for everyday use, his work is inspired by Nordic pottery encountered during childhood. Coupling Scandinavian influences with a Japanese approach, Kudo creates something familiar yet entirely new.
