KAMARO’AN is a brand founded in Hualien, Taiwan in 2015. Rooted in the traditional crafts of the Amis, the largest Indigenous group in Taiwan, the brand blends ancestral techniques with a contemporary design sensibility. The name KAMARO’AN means “a place to live,” symbolizing a connection between people, land, and culture. Each piece is handwoven by artisans in their workshops, evoking ocean currents and constellations, and quietly brings the enduring beauty of inherited craftsmanship into everyday life.
