This is a premium umeshu made by using Nankoubai, a type of plum produced in Satsuma Town, the local area of Komaki Brewing.
Large, thick-skinned green plums are soaked for over 10 months, then manually processed into paste and added in large amounts. It has a beautiful balance of sweet and sour.

Established in 1970 in Satsuma town in the northern part of Kagoshima, KOMAKI uses natural spring water from the Shiroyama mountain range and locally produced rice and sweet potatoes for our ingredients. The rich, earthy flavor is developed by using the Satsuma-style jar inherited since our founding and is a distinctive feature of KOMAKI distillery's honkaku shochu.
