Born in Tokyo in 1974, Tomomi Kawakami established a studio in Ibaraki Prefecture in 2002, where she creates hand-blown glassware using recycled (soda) glass. With a focus on "everyday glass," her organic and soft forms, born from manual craftsmanship, seamlessly blend into daily life.
