MAHO HARADA SAKE CUP - TILE

This piece is made using the *neriage* technique, forming colorful geometric patterns from clay mixed with pigments and sketched designs.

Kumamoto Prefecture native Maho Harada launched her eponymous ceramics studio in 2001. Harada’s colorful, geometric patterned pieces are crafted using a production technique known as ‘neriage,’ in which pigments are hand-kneaded into clay.
