Rautis draws on a tradition of Christmas glass bead ornament production in the Czech Republic that dates back over 100 years. The production processes have been handed down for generations, providing an unparallelled understanding of the glass material. Local glassmakers´ skill is so exceptional that their traditional glass bead hand-manufacturing has rightfully earned a place on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Rautis is the only company in the world still engaged in this production today.
