The BOTTLE BASKET is perfect for carrying sake or wine bottles, made from braided igusa straw.
Traditionally used in tatami mats, igusa ages beautifully, developing a sheen and a rich fox-like color.

Based in Kurashiki, Okayama, SUNAMI TŌRU SHŌTEN creates igusa straw baskets. Founded in 1886, it is now led by fifth-generation Takayoshi Sunami. They honor traditional techniques while incorporating new methods, crafting each piece by hand.
