Nagakumo is YAMADA’s signature brown sugar shochu. High-quality underground water from the Chono Mountain range and black sugar made in Amami, have created a unique flavor of black sugar shochu with a distinctive aroma and sweetness.

YAMADA was founded in 1957 on Amami Oshima Island, Kagoshima Prefecture. It uses underground water from the Chono Mountain range for brewing and dilution, and uses flavorful and smooth black sugar made in Amami for its unique taste. The shochu is carefully crafted by a small number of craftsmen.
