これからが夏本番。山に逃げたくなる。川に飛び込みたくなる。Summer is just getting started. まだまだ楽しめるアウトドアのアクティビティが増えてくる季節です。The kind of season that makes you want to escape to the mountains or jump straight into a river.
夏になると結局毎日のように被ってるんですよ、キャップかハット。もはや頭の一部。With more chances to enjoy the outdoors, this is when caps and hats naturally become part of the daily rotation. でも暑い時期のかぶりものって、見た目だけじゃ厳しんですよね。蒸れる、重い、汗をかいて終わる……。But during summer, headwear has to do more than just look good. そのあたりの課題を全部クリアしてくれないと、正直スタメン入りは厳しい。If it’s heavy, stuffy, or uncomfortable once you start sweating, it quickly stops getting worn.
そんな中、最近かなり刺さったのが、〈nonnative〉の「HIKER JET CAP NYLON RIPSTOP PIGMENT DYE」と、「HIKER HAT NYLON RIPSTOP PIGMENT DYE」。That’s exactly why the HIKER JET CAP NYLON RIPSTOP PIGMENT DYE and HIKER HAT NYLON RIPSTOP PIGMENT DYE from nonnative stood out to me recently.
まず、素材がナイロンリップストップ。軽いのにタフ。雑に扱ってもどこか余裕がある。Both are made from lightweight yet durable nylon ripstop, easy to wear without feeling delicate or overly technical. The pigment-dyed finish gives them a naturally faded look, almost like they’ve already been worn for years. そしてピグメントダイ（顔料染め）特有の少し褪せたような色味。新品なのに、何年か一緒に過ごしてきたかのような空気感をまとってる感じがいい。Another thing I like is that they don’t look “too outdoor.” They work just as naturally in the city as they do in the mountains.
「アウトドア用です」って顔をしすぎてないのも最高。山でも似合うし、街でも浮かない。Throw one on with a simple T-shirt and the look instantly feels complete. Tシャツに適当に合わせるだけで雰囲気が出るし、疲れてる日のコーデすらこれを被れば、なんか成立する。こういう被り物こそ結局一番使かってしまう。Even on days when you don’t want to think too hard about styling, these are the kind of pieces that somehow make everything work.
