The collaboration between the Japanese eyewear brand ayame, known for its pursuit of beauty and sophistication, and COVERCHORD has resulted in the creation of original sunglasses.

These sunglasses, available in a refreshing Lemon Sour colorway, are made with frames that evoke the warmth of sunlight. They come with lenses in two colors: BROWN and CHARCOAL.

The brand name ayame (Japanese iris) is derived from the symbol flower of the designer Yu Imaizumi's hometown, Chikusei City in Ibaraki Prefecture, and the idea of “coloring the eyes = colorful eyes (the same pronunciation as ayame in Japanese).”

Crafted with meticulous care by skilled artisans in Sabae City, Fukui Prefecture, known for its world-class craftsmanship, these sunglasses boast exceptional product quality and capture the essence of contemporary fashion.

From ayame's 1st collection comes the beloved masterpiece KORO, a timeless model that has been reimagined in an original colorway for COVERCHORD.

With its Wellington shape and edgeless design, KORO exudes a soft, rounded aesthetic. The subtle and elegant Lemon Sour colorway, with just the right amount of sweetness, is perfect for the upcoming cheerful season and can be enjoyable for all genders in their light-hearted outfits.

To commemorate the release of the collaboration item KORO / LEMON SOUR, COVERCHORD Nakameguro will host a 4-day POP-UP event for ayame from April 26th to 29th.

During this event, customers can try on the limited edition items and explore ayame's extensive collection, including popular classics and new releases for summer.
Additionally, custom order options will be available for selecting lenses to match your favorite frames, exclusively during this limited period!

This event offers an opportunity to find eyewear perfect for daily wear in the upcoming season. Ayame designer Yu Imaizumi will be at the reception on Friday, April 26th（17:00-20:00）

Located in Shimokitazawa, one of Tokyo's leading cultural districts, BAR Kurage is a relaxed and enjoyable place to enjoy drinks without pretension, while connecting with delicious distilled spirits.

During this event, you can indulge in BAR Kurage's signature drink, the Lemon Sour, exclusively for this occasion. This special version features lemon peel steeped in Amami brown sugar Shochu Takakura, aged for over three years, offering a smooth richness and full-bodied flavor. The refreshing sensation of fresh lemon and soda complements the depth of the Shochu's flavor, while a subtle sweetness from cane sugar enhances the overall drinking experience.

For those who prefer non-alcoholic options or families with children, non-alcoholic drinks will also be available. Don't miss this opportunity to enjoy delicious drinks while shopping.
