Track pants
I'm particular about the little things.
When I fold towels and put them back, they need to be perfectly stacked.
Shampoo on the left, conditioner on the right. Always.
In the summer, the air conditioner is always set to 27 degrees, low.
I wash dishes unbelievably meticulously.
When I wash Tupperware, I have to rub it with my fingers and make that squeaky sound; otherwise, I'm not satisfied.
When I wake up and drink water, I never fill the glass to the brim, I leave it about 80% full. Without fail.
It tastes best at 80%.
Sometimes I envy my wife, who can wash dishes with just one swipe of a sponge.
She doesn't seem to care when the towels are a bit wonky.
I envy her. She looks to me like a bird soaring through the vast sky.
I'm sure Mr. Murakami from blurhms understands my feelings.
Just by looking at the waist and hem width of these pants and the thickness of the drawstring, you can tell it's an item made by my people.
If you lined up a hundred track pants and mixed these in, I'm confident that I’d be able to tell you which ones were made by Mr. Murakami.
The person who made these pants definitely doesn’t use laundry detergent that makes their clothes slimy, and their Tupperware is extremely squeaky.
Next time I meet Mr. Murakami, I’ll wear these pants and talk to him about Tupperware.
