When I look at the new clothes that come in each season, I find myself impressed by the imagination and creativity of some of the designers.
I definitely felt that with this new brand, Unlikely. Unlikely is a brand that was started in 2023 by Shinsuke Nakada, the director of DAIWA PIER39 and former creative director of BEAMS.

The brand name comes from the concept of "unlikely to exist, unlikely to happen", and it draws influence from American trad, classic, and uniform styles, traversing various eras while editing various functions to reconstruct them in a modern way.

This M-51 style jacket is a classic American uniform item, but it is adorned with Nakada's unique ideas throughout. It features a simple collar like a shirt and is designed with a button-down style. The sizing is generous like a half-coat, and it uses cupra for the lining. The inside of the sleeves is also adorned with cupra stripes and American traditional elements, giving it a completely different look from the outside.
