外に出るのが気持ちいい季節。店の目の前が目黒川なこともあって、今年も毎日お花見を楽しみました。It’s the kind of season that makes you want to step outside. With the Meguro River right in front of the store, I found myself enjoying hanami almost every day this year. 気づけば桜も半分以上が新芽に変わっていて、店下の屋台も撤収。狂乱の花見ムードは瞬く間に終わり、目黒川沿いはすっかり通常運転。この切り替わりの速さも含めてなんか春っぽい。Before I knew it, the blossoms had turned to green, the stalls were gone, and everything quietly returned to normal. That quick shift somehow feels very spring-like.
今回紹介するのは〈Rafu〉と〈nonnative〉の初の共同制作となる一着。This is the first collaboration between Rafu and nonnative.
きっかけは、〈MIYAGIHIDETAKA〉や〈Rafu〉を手掛ける宮城秀貴氏からの、〈nonnative〉デザイナー藤井隆行へのDM。「一度会いましょうか」という自然な流れからスタートしたプロジェクト。It started from a simple DM from Hidetaka Miyagi to Takayuki Fujii. 藤井の実はチェックシャツを考えるのが少し苦手、という率直な感覚と、それでもコレクションに欠かせない存在であるという認識。Fujii admits that check shirts aren’t his strongest area, yet they’re essential to the collection. その間を埋めるように、チェックとバンダナを軸に活動する宮城氏の存在がすっとハマった、そんな経緯も興味深いところ。That’s where Miyagi’s work, centered around checks and bandanas, fits in naturally.
SS 2026 コレクションを象徴するカラーリングでつくられたオンブレチェックは、やりすぎていないムードのある色味で、ファティーグシャツの無骨なミリタリーのディテールとも自然に馴染みます。The ombré check, developed in the SS 2026 palette, has a subtle tone that blends well with the rugged military details of the fatigue shirt. 大きめのチェストポケットや、裾のコードで調整できるシルエットなど、実用性と抜け感のバランスも◎。Oversized chest pockets and an adjustable hem add both function and ease. LOOKで女性が着ていたのも印象的で、性別問わず自分のスタイルに落とし込める懐の深さも魅力です。I also liked how it was styled on a female model, showing its versatility across styles.
気負わず着られて、しっかり雰囲気が出る。これからのシーズン間違いなく出番が増える一着。Easy to wear, but with a strong presence. 日々コーディネートに取り入れるイメージが、しっかりと湧くはずです。It’s the kind of piece I can already see myself reaching for throughout the season.
