In recent years, the outdoor brand Rab has been incredibly focused on UL (Ultra-Light) camping technology, and I noticed that one item in particular called the MYTHIC ULTRA has been a hot topic on various outdoor websites. The reason lies in its weight compared to its spec. It is incredibly light, almost unbelievably so.

Despite being suitable for 3-season use with a lower temperature limit of 0℃, it weighs only 400g, making it one of the best, if not the best, in the industry. It has a luminous lining, which uses the world's first titanium-coated heat-reflective technology called "TILT," and which sounds like something straight out of a sci-fi movie. Put simply, it delivers the incredible feeling that your body heat is reflecting back to you the moment you get inside.

The result is an “industry-first" and "world-first” item, and it's also produced in-house in a British factory. This combination of innovation and tradition doesn’t come cheap, and indeed exudes an aura of exclusivity that might deter the casual buyer.
But for those in the know and who can appreciate the details, it is a top piece of equipment and worth every penny.
