Born in Nagano Prefecture in 1930, Tadahiro Baba graduated from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music and worked as a corporate designer before establishing his own design office in 1957. Using traditional methods Baba crafts Nambu ironware tools for daily use, which have received high praise for their timeless and universal appeal.
