A collaboration between E5 Eyevan and HYKE, the EH-1 reinterprets the 1960s U.S. military “USS” frame with meticulous detailing and achieves an unexpectedly light, precise fit that balances comfort, durability, and substantial form.

- Frame made of cellulose acetate, a special plastic that resists changes from skin contact and aging
- β-titanium hinges with a unique L-shaped structure for superior comfort and easy adjustment by opticians
- Temples engineered with optimized weight and contact area for a balanced fit

HYKE is a fashion brand by designers Hideaki Yoshihara and Yukiko Ode. Originally launched in 1998 as green, the brand was renamed HYKE with its Fall/Winter 2013 collection. With the concept of “HERITAGE AND EVOLUTION—evolving the history and traditions of clothing through a unique vision and sensibility,” HYKE avoids seasonal themes and instead reinterprets timeless pieces inspired by vintage and military wear through a modern lens.
