Renowned glassware artisan, MIYO OYABU founded her independent studio in 2003 in Okinawa Japan. Ooyabu’s glassware is distinctive for its soft, round form and tiny air bubbles that sparkle in the light. These features are in direct contrast to standard glass design elements of symmetry and transparency. By embracing the irregularities every item possesses a unique character.
