This is KUMESEN’s signature 3-year-aged (kūsū) 43% Ryukyu Awamori.
It is made from black koji and offers a sweet and rich flavor, as well as a deep and complex aroma of well-aged sake. With a unique 43% alcohol content, it has a stronger and more intense taste than the 35% version.

Founded in 1952 in Naha, Okinawa, KUMESEN has been focused on "creating Awamori that takes one step forward" since its establishment. In 1989 they produced the first oak barrel-aged Awamori in the industry and have developed innovative shochu using Japanese rice instead of the typical Indica variety.
