Originally founded in 1928 under the name NAKAO SHUZO, this Awamori distillery changed its name to KIKUNOTSUYU in 1965. It produces various types of premium and specialty liquor including Kūsū and was awarded the Yellow Ribbon Medal in 1995 for its outstanding achievements.
