Renowned ceramicist, YOSUKE KOMATSUNO established his independent studio in 2003 in Kumamoto, Japan. Komatsuno's ceramic cups, plates, and bowls are crafted using Amakusa porcelain stone gathered from natural clay deposits located in Kumamoto prefecture. His pieces are known for utilizing unique glazes and colored accents rare for Amakusa style ceramics, to create functional ceramics able to bring joy to everyday moments.
