This small mamezara plate by Maho Harada features an abstract kneaded neriage pattern, reminiscent of light reflections underwater.

Kumamoto Prefecture native Maho Harada launched her eponymous ceramics studio in 2001. Harada’s colorful, geometric patterned pieces are crafted using a production technique known as ‘neriage,’ in which pigments are hand-kneaded into clay.
