The lightweight windshell jacket is made from 50D Pertex® Quantum nylon with fluorocarbon-free DWR, offering packable wind protection for mountaineering, trekking, and fastpacking, with YKK® zippers and hand pockets.

RAB began in 1981 in Sheffield, UK where Rab Carrington made the first sleeping bag to bear his name. Carrington's experience from years spent in the mountains was apparent in his hand-stitched designs, and soon there was popular demand from friends and the growing local climbing community.
