This Sakana plate is crafted using a traditional kneading technique, "Uzura-te," named after its resemblance to the feather pattern of a quail. Ideal sizing for fish and other mains.

A graduate of the prestigious Musashino Art University, ceramicist Hanako Sakashita established her studio in the renowned Japanese ceramics town of Mashiko in 2011. Drawing influence from traditional Japanese textiles, Sakashita employs ‘neriage’ production techniques to create her intricately patterned pieces.
