DELIVERY SERVICES

International deliveries are shipped via DHL EXPRESS WORLDWIDE, Monday-Friday. We can also ship via EMS, shipping rates remain the same. Please type your request to ship via EMS in the comments field at checkout and we will do our best to assist you.

There may be cases where deliveries are delayed or cannot be delivered to specific countries and regions, due to factors out of our control. COVERCHORD is not responsible for any delays, damage or loss caused by the courier or customs agencies.

Shipments within Japan will be delivered by YAMATO TRANSPORT Co.,ltd at the cost of ¥750. Deliveries are dispatched within 1-4 days of receiving your order. Please note that shipments may be delayed during busy periods. When your order is dispatched from our warehouse you will receive an email with tracking information.

Policy on Changing Delivery Addresses After Shipment

Once your order has been shipped, we are unable to process delivery address changes through our system. For domestic shipments within Japan, it may be possible to change the delivery address after shipment through Yamato Transport’s “Inquiry Form.” Please confirm your tracking number and contact Yamato Transport directly for assistance.

If the delivery address is changed to one different from the original address on the shipping label, additional shipping fees (calculated at Yamato Transport’s standard rate and payable upon delivery) will apply. For details, please refer to Yamato Transport’s official website.

Please note: Address changes are not available for orders shipped using cash-on-delivery (COD).

CHARGES

* COVERCHORD is currently unable to ship to Russia, Belarus, or Pakistan. We apologize for the inconvenience.
* As of December 1st 2022, we have had to increase our shipping fees to reflect international shipping rates.
* In some cases due to the size or weight of an order, or if the delivery location is deemed remote by DHL, additional shipping charges may apply. In these circumstances, customers will be notified via email and asked to pay additional shipping and handling charges.

TAXES & DUTIES

International deliveries are exempt from Japanese consumption tax. For deliveries shipped within Japan, a 10% consumption tax fee will be included.

When ordering goods from COVERCHORD internationally, your order may be subject to import duties and/or taxes. COVERCHORD is not responsible for any charges incurred in the recipient's country from customs, duties or taxes. COVERCHORD has no control over these charges and cannot tell you in advance what the cost of duties will be. If you would like to know how much your duties will be on an order, please contact your local customs office. If a customer refuses to pay import duties and/or taxes and the package is returned to us, we will issue a refund with the return shipping charges deducted.

In accordance with international trading laws, we must state the correct value of the order on all of our shipments. We never mark the value of shipments down.
