COVERCHORD EXCLUSIVE ITEMS

JANE SMITH
for COVERCHORD
JANE SMITH draws inspiration from vintage, military, and workwear styles, creating refined products that blend modern silhouettes with contemporary design.
The brand is built on the concept of a signature label made for Jane Smith, a fictional left-handed character.
From the Spring/Summer collection, we produced an exclusive 16G COTTON POLYESTER CARDIGAN, available in ten colors.
It is knitted in a fine 16-gauge using a blend of cotton and polyester yarns combined with a structured, high-tension thread for a crisp, elevated finish.
For the Fall/Winter collection, we created an exclusive version of the MOHAIR RANDOM BORDER CREW KNIT, crafted with long-hair mohair yarn that offers exceptional softness and a refined sheen, expressed in a custom multicolor design.

COMESANDGOES
for COVERCHORD
Founded in 2012 by designer Ippo Sato, who built his career as a headwear specialist, COMESANDGOES is based on the idea of creating “ordinary, well-made hats for everyday life”, pieces crafted with sincerity and intended to become part of one’s daily uniform.
The NY BRIM LEATHER CAP is a new standard cap inspired by “the sun-faded, sweat-worn baseball cap worn by a film’s main character.”
Designed to age beautifully with wear, it features a leather brim chosen to deepen the cap’s character over time.
It’s a piece meant to be enjoyed throughout the year, regardless of season.

HAKUJI
for COVERCHORD
HAKUJI is a Japanese jersey brand that debuted in the Spring/Summer 2015 season. With a focus on simplicity and quality, the brand creates everyday pieces designed for comfort. Its lineup centers around essential cut-and-sew items and authentic knitwear.
This season features the BLUR-PAINTED PRINT RIB LS PO, a sheer cut top with a marble pattern that looks as if it were airbrushed.
For COVERCHORD, we released an exclusive color, “BLUE MIX,” in both a crew neck and a turtleneck style.
The slightly elongated sleeves peek subtly from beneath jackets or shirts, while the delicate, lightweight lettuce-edge finish adds a soft, refined accent.

KAPTAIN SUNSHINE
for COVERCHORD
KAPTAIN SUNSHINE creates garments from premium materials with rich texture, sewn with the reliable craftsmanship of Japanese factories, and designed to be everyday pieces you can wash and wear without hesitation.
Rooted in traditional styles and classic outdoor wear, the brand focuses on clothing that carries the essence of heritage and feels ready to accompany you on any journey.
For this exclusive project, the concept was “LAYER UP.”
Winter in the city means constant shifts between cold outdoor air and overheated interiors. Taking off a down jacket or long coat on a crowded train can often feel bulky or cumbersome.
We wanted to design pieces that make these subtle temperature changes easier to navigate, items that bring comfort to urban winter life.
The set-up is made from a high-quality wool serge fabric, offering a balanced weight, a soft hand feel, and a relaxed silhouette that delivers both comfort and refinement.

Sisi Joia
for COVERCHORD
Sisi Joia is a handmade jewelry brand founded in 2019 by Paris-based designer Cecile.
With a theme of “playfulness for adults,” the brand creates one-of-a-kind pieces using vintage beads and artisan-blown glass, offering accessories that bring a lift in mood the moment they are worn.
For COVERCHORD, we created exclusive items featuring milky-white and white teardrop beads, available as both a necklace and earrings.

STRIPES FOR CREATIVE
for COVERCHORD
STRIPES FOR CREATIVE, often referred to as S.F.C., is a domestic brand led by Hiroyuki Yumoto, who is also the director of the homeware brand SEE SEE ― a successor of the traditional Shizuoka wood-turning craft ― as well as the popular market event YES GOOD MARKET.
As suggested by the striped brand logo, S.F.C. is built around the concept of “irregular balance,” creating basic items reinterpreted through the brand’s unique perspective.
For our exclusive collaboration with COVERCHORD, the concept was “24/7.”
We developed a matching set made from premium wool, consisting of a short blouson and wide pants designed for comfortable year round wear, along with cut and sew pieces in exclusive colors.

TEMBEA
for COVERCHORD
TEMBEA is a Japanese bag brand founded in 2004 by designer Atsushi Hayasaki.
Its name means “to wander” in Swahili, reflecting the brand’s approach to free and intuitive use. Rather than relying on pockets or dividers to assign where items should go, TEMBEA values an unrestricted way of carrying, prioritizing comfort and openness over convenience.
With a focus on the plain, honest character of canvas, the brand continues to create bags as everyday tools that pursue a universal beauty that transcends time and place.
For this COVERCHORD exclusive, we selected dog, cat, bear, and penguin motifs from the archive and requested special production.
Each illustration is hand drawn, offering a warm, gentle feel while maintaining a balance that suits an adult’s style.
Within each pattern, a subtle “memorable scene” is hidden ― a Shiba Inu during shedding season, a cat kneading with its paws, a bear holding a fish, a fluffy baby penguin.
The more you look, the more small details you discover, which is part of their charm.

QUIITO
for COVERCHORD
QUIITO is a womenswear brand founded by designer Mayu Kamura and launched in the Fall/Winter 2024 season.
Using vintage denim and military garments as raw materials, the brand creates deconstructed pieces through patchwork and redesign.
The brand name is derived from kiito, the natural undyed thread used before dyeing. It expresses an admiration for the strong and beautiful imagery that arises from natural colors and textures, as well as a commitment to valuing raw materials and resources.
For our exclusive item, the I LINE W WAIST SK reinterprets the brand’s signature double-waist design from the W WAIST DENIM PT, reconstructing it into an I-line skirt.
The silhouette can be worn high-waisted or low-rise, allowing you to adjust the look to suit your mood.

KHATA
for COVERCHORD
KHATA stoles are entirely hand dyed and hand woven by artisans in Nepal.
Made without wool, they have no itchiness and offer a soft and fluffy touch that feels gentle on the skin.
The brand name comes from the traditional Khata, a ceremonial scarf rooted in Himalayan culture.
While khatas are usually made in bold ethnic colors and patterns, COVERCHORD created an exclusive version in four solid colors that are easy to use in everyday life.
The large size makes the stole very versatile. You can wrap it around your neck, drape it over your shoulders, or use it as a simple layer for added warmth.
It works well both as protection against the cold and as a subtle styling accent.

NEAT
for COVERCHORD
NEAT is a Japanese pants brand founded in the Fall Winter 2015 season by designer Daishi Nishino.
The name comes from the English word “neat,” reflecting the designer’s idea that even with a T shirt and sneakers, choosing well made trousers alone can instantly create a refined look.
For this COVERCHORD exclusive, the theme is EASY.
It is a capsule collection that keeps NEAT’s signature refinement while reworking the designs into pieces that can be worn more casually in daily life.
Based on the brand’s iconic NEAT CHINO, the trousers are redesigned as easy pants with an elastic waist and drawcord.
The NEAT CAP, a trademark item of designer Nishino, has been updated with an elastic strap, creating a lighter and more comfortable fit.
