The envelope-style sleeping bag is often overshadowed by the mummy-style.
Personally, I've always used mummy bags.

But I've always thought,
"Summer camping often means the sleeping bag gets too hot, right?"
It's uncomfortable to sleep without any cover, so I'd end up half in the bag, only to kick it off when it got too warm, and then wake up cold in the morning. That's when I found the Rab OUTPOST series and realized it was perfect.

The biggest appeal is its ability to fully open and function as a quilt.
It frees you from the mindset that camping means sleeping in a sleeping bag, allowing you to cover only half your body or just your feet, creating a relaxed sleeping environment.

With a full width of 160cm, the quilt is perfect for couples or families. If you have two from the series, you can connect them to form a large 160cm-wide envelope.
There are three temperature variations, but for this season, the 300 (COMFORT 10°C / LIMIT 5°C) is recommended. Made in a traditional UK factory, the Pine Green color has a charming British feel, reminiscent of an old Range Rover.

I'm still planning our first camping trip with my daughter.
Her sleep style at age two is quite something (she rotates 360° overnight), but with this, we can look forward to happy mornings.
