Jun Mikami started her brand with hand-knit creations.
Since then the brand has gained popularity for items such as shirts and dresses made from original fabrics, as well as cut-and-sew tops with feminine cuts. However, I wouldn't be surprised if there are still many fans of her hand-knit creations.
After a hiatus since the 22SS season, a new hand-knit collection has been released.

The Nordic pattern featured in this collection is characterized by a slender and pointed design created by Mikami using Excel.
Unlike traditional Nordic patterns which give off a cozy vibe, this piece from JUN MIKAMI is slightly edgy and reflects the brand's signature style.

I find that knits are best worn effortlessly as a single piece.
Whether layered for the still slightly chilly cherry blossom viewing season or worn during the lingering heat of late summer, I like to wear knits during transitional seasons.
