Part of OZISM, a collaboration collection between designer Jun Takahashi's brands UNDERCOVER and nonnative.

Inspired by the film director Yasujiro Ozu, -Portraits of Modern Japanese- was chosen as the tagline of the collection, paying homage to the seemingly contradictory points of both designers who value Japanese aesthetics, history, and background, as well as their sympathy for Mr. Ozu.

These horse leather hiking boots are a classic lace-up hiking boot designed exclusively for nonnative. Crafted using the Norwegian welt method, these boots boast a robust construction complemented by a Vibram sole for exceptional durability. This mid-height design features two-speed hooks above the shoelace holes, tailored specifically for this collection. The low heel enhances comfort and ease of wear, ensuring a solid yet effortless fit.

GUIDI's roots date back to 1896, when the leather tannery CONCERIA GUIDI ROSELLIN was founded in Tuscany, Italy. In the early 2000s, the current owner of the family-run business, Ruggero Guidi, began developing a unique line of accessories and footwear, fusing the tannery's heritage of traditional craftsmanship with the introduction of new and innovative technologies.
