These items are part of the "liscio series," featuring leather crafted from the renowned Tuscan tanner, Lo Stivale. The series utilizes tannin-tanned leather, including extracts from plants such as Kevlar and mimosa, treated with dye for a smooth finish. The new "neckstrap" design involves cutting a single leather piece to shape the body, using extracted leather parts as fasteners.

Ryo Kashiwazaki founded HENDER SCHEME in Tokyo in 2010. The brand's ‘Homage' series received acclaim around the world for their artisanal reconstruction of several iconic sneaker models, which were hand-crafted entirely in premium, pre-tanned, natural leather. As the footwear line has grown, many other leather goods, homewares, and daily-use items have been added to the offering.
